PENTAX Meet Britain is a nationwide competition to encourage members of the public to produce a series of one-off, intimate photographs that capture Great Britain in 2012. The competition is open until 3rd September and people can submit images into one of five categories:
-Celebrations
-Summer Holidays
-Friends and Family
-Great British Culture
-Great British Outdoors

As part of the campaign, Sarah will be creating a set of images, which will hopefully provide a unique insight into the people and places that make Britain special to her.

Sarah Harding says “I’m really proud of my British roots, so to be an ambassador for Pentax and to fly the flag for the Meet Britain campaign is really exciting. There are so many world-class events taking place in the UK this summer, from music festivals to major sporting occasions — there is something for everyone to capture on camera.”

The photographs she creates and the best images from the public competition will then feature in an exhibition which will be open to the public in September. Following the exhibition, one winner from each category will take home a new PENTAX K-30 camera and one overall winner will take home the £1,000 prize fund.
